A quick weeknight side, this spicy wasabi slaw recipe pairs perfectly with Skinnytaste’s Sesame Chicken tenders, burgers, BBQ, fish, and more! Personally, I love it with grilled tuna topped with a few of French’s crispy onions!
Pro tips:
- If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you, Taylor Farms’s Chopped Sweet Kale kit is basically the same thing and available in most grocery stores.
- It’s important to mix the sauce first in a separate bowl before tossing with the kale salad so all the ingredients are incorporated evenly.
- This can be prepared up to a day ahead.
- This has a spice kick to it. All the ingredients are scalable to allow you to make the slaw more or less saucey by adding more or less mayo. Also, reduce the amount of the wasabi sauce (or increase) depending on your spice preference.
